Police arrested a 44-year-old man in connection with the anti-gay razor attack on a 22-year-old McDonald's patron last week.

Keith Patron, of the Bronx, was arrested Monday and charged with assault as a hate crime. Information on an attorney wasn't immediately available.

Police said the victim man was slashed at 7 p.m. Wednesday at a McDonald's on West 3rd Street. They said the suspect made anti-gay remarks, which led to a physical confrontation between the two men.

Police said the suspect slashed the victim with the blade about the face, back, neck and elbow. He then fled.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he received stitches for his injuries.
