McCarren Pool to Reopen

The 1,500 person capacity pool was evacuated Saturday after human waste was found in the water

Brooklyn's McCarren Park pool will reopen at 4 p.m. Sunday, officials said.

The 1,500 person capacity pool was evacuated Saturday after human waste was found in the water.

By law, the pool must close for 24 hours to allow chlorine to disinfect the water.

The pool, which opened in June after a $50 million renovation, was also closed last month when feces was spotted in the water.
