Mayor Bloomberg Pulls for King James
LeBron James walks in Harlem on June 16, 2009 in New York City.
"New Yorkers want LeBron to come to the greatest city in the world, and we're launching the C'mon LeBron campaign to capitalize on their energy and creativity in making their own cases for why he should choose New York," said Bloomberg. "There are terrific cities all over the country, but none match the excitement of the greatest City in the world.”
The campaign consists of New Yorkers and public figures making their pleas through online promotions
, shirts, and street ads including messages on taxis and in Times Square.
Free agency begins July 1.
