Prison Transfer for Mass. Woman in NJ Murder Plot

A Massachusetts woman who prosecutors say conspired with a Pakistani-American man to kill his wife is in jail in New Jersey.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi says 26-year-old Antoinette Stephen was transferred Monday morning from a prison facility in Massachusetts to the Morris County Correctional Facility. Stephen is being held on $5 million bail.

Stephen and Kashif Parvaiz are charged with murdering Parvaiz's wife, Pakistani-born Nazish Noorani.

Noorani was fatally shot while she and Parvaiz pushed their son's stroller near Noorani's family home in Boonton on Aug. 16. The boy was unharmed.

Authorities say Parvaiz told police that a group of men called them terrorists and attacked them. But text messages showed Stephen and Parvaiz had elaborately planned the attack in advance.

No court date has been set for Stephen.
