Authorities say the body of an adult male has washed ashore at a construction site in Edgewater, not far from the northern New Jersey town's police headquarters.
A construction worker found the body around 7:20 a.m. Saturday at the River Road site.
Authorities have declined further comment on the discovery or the condition of the body. They also would not say whether foul play is suspected in the man's death.
The body was turned over to the Bergen County Medical Examiner's Office.
