Serial Manhattan Robbery Suspect in Custody: Sources
The suspect has robbed or attempted to rob 14 people in the East Village and Lower East Side

The suspect wanted in connection with at least 14 Manhattan robberies since May is in police custody, law enforcement sources tell NBC 4 New York.
Lineups are being conducted Thursday afternoon.
In each incident, the robber approached the victim, displayed or simulated a weapon -- either a firearm or knife -- and threatened them, police have said.
He has taken jewelry, money, cell phones and other electronics, and has committed robberies in the East Village, Gramercy and on the Lower East Side.
The investigation is ongoing.
