A man tried to spray a woman in the face with an unknown substance while she was holding their 2-year-old son, police said.
Police are searching for Victor Wallace, 30, who fled after the June 5 attack in Williamsbridge in the Bronx.
Wallace was in the victim's home on Bronxwood Avenue and East 213th Street when he tried to spray her in the face, the NYPD said. It wasn't clear what the substance was.
The 29-year-old woman and her son were treated at the scene, police said.
Wallace is 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 215 pounds with dark hair and brown eyes, police said.
