Man Threw 3-Liter Soda Bottle at Brooklyn Store Employee: Police

Police are looking for a man suspected of throwing a three-liter soda bottle at a grocery store employee in Brooklyn.

The alleged assault happened at the Mermaid Avenue store on Coney Island at about 12:40 p.m. on Nov. 27, according to police.

Authorities said the man entered the store and began throwing items around. When a store employee approached the suspect, he threw a three-liter plastic bottle that struck the employee’s head, police said.

The employee experienced pain, but refused medical attention.
