Man Stole $25K in Prescription Drugs, Car From Deliveryman: Cops

Police released this sketch of a suspect wanted for stealing around $25,000 in prescription drugs from a deliveryman in Queens.

Police are searching for a suspect they say held up a pharmaceutical deliveryman in Queens last Friday, stealing the man's car and around $25,000 in prescription medicine.

The suspect, depicted in a police sketch above, allegedly approached the 49-year-old deliveryman with a gun on 150th Street and 14th Avenue in Whitestone at around 8 a.m. The man forced the deliveryman to sit in the passenger seat while he drove to Yonkers, and the victim was then told to leave the car.

The suspect then drove away with the car and the medicine, police said.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
