Man Slashed Aboard Midtown Subway Train: NYPD

The man was attacked aboard a 6 train near Grand Central Terminal, according to the NYPD

A man was slashed aboard a subway train near Grand Central Terminal Tuesday morning after he got into an argument with the suspect, who was possibly intoxicated, authorities said.

The victim was with his wife on a northbound 6 train in Manhattan at about 3:30 a.m. when the suspect allegedly began harassing his wife, authorities said.

The victim then got into a fight with the suspect, who pulled a large knife and lunged at the man, police said.

The victim put up his hands to defend himself and was cut on two of his fingers, police said.

He was taken to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries.

No arrests have been made in the attack, police said.
