Man Shot and Killed Defending Wife: NYPD

No arrest has been reported

A Brooklyn man who police say was defending his wife during an argument with another man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in Crown Heights.

Dion James, 30, of Dean Street, confronted the man who was arguing with his wife at about 4 a.m. at the corner of Franklin Avenue and Union Street, investigators said. At one point, the man pulled a gun and shot James twice in the back.

James was taken to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No arrest has been reported.
