Police are searching for a group of men and women in their 20s and 30s who allegedly lured a man out of a restaurant, then assaulted and robbed him in the Bronx earlier this month.
Police say a woman lured the victim out of the eatery at 1969 University Ave. at about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 7.
That's when the group waiting outside the business attacked him, kicking and punching him, then robbing him at gunpoint, according to police.
The suspects took cash and a cellphone, then ran away.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
