Man Stabs Mom, Teen Daughters in Bronx: Police

Lamont Macon remains at large after the stabbings, authorities say

Police are looking for a 38-year-old man who broke into an apartment in the Bronx early Sunday and stabbed a mother and her two children.

Police say Lamont Macon stabbed a 35-year-old woman and her 13-year-old and 14-year-old daughters. Macon and the mother share children, though he is not the father of the girls he allegedly stabbed, police say.

The victims are all listed in stable condition at Jacobi Medical Center.

Macon was released from prison in November after serving time on an attempted murder charge. It's not known if the woman he allegedly stabbed Sunday is connected to the prior case against him.

Macon is described as being about 5 feet 11 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police.
