A man was arrested and charged with killing a man and injuring another in a double shooting in Brooklyn Friday, authorities said.
At around 3:30 a.m., police responded to a call of an assault at Parkside Avenue and Parade Place. Police found three men inside a Ford Edge, with the 26-year-old driver with gunshot wounds to his jaw, neck and back, authorities said. He was taken to Maimonides Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He has been identified as Aboubacar, Fofana, of Brooklyn.
A 20-year-old victim was shot in the back, and taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, police said. A 22-year-old passenger was unharmed, police said.
Damani Thomas, 29, was charged with murder, attmepted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
It is unclear what the motive was.
