Authorities say a northern New Jersey man was killed when the all-terrain vehicle he was driving struck a parked car.
Plainfield police tell The Star-Ledger that 21-year-old Piscataway resident Andrew Taylor was killed in the crash, which occurred around 8:15 p.m. Monday in the area of Central Avenue and Ninth Street.
Authorities say Taylor was operating the vehicle illegally and was not wearing a helmet. He was taken to a hospital, where he died a short time later.
No other injuries were reported in the accident, which remains under investigation.
