Man Killed, Woman Shot Near NY Moksha Music Festival: Authorities

A man was killed and a woman was injured after gunfire erupted near the location of a music festival in the Bronx on Sunday, authorities say.

The 34-year-old man was found unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds at Oak Point Avenue and Tiffany Street, the FDNY said.

A 34-year-old woman was also found with at least one gunshot wound to her leg.

The two victims were in a BMW when a shooter approached their vehicle and fired multiple gunshots at them, according to police. The shooter fled in a white luxury sedan, officials said.

The two were found near where Moksha Festival of Fun music festival was taking place.

The man was taken to Lincoln Hospital where he was pronounced dead, the FDNY said. The woman is in stable condition and is expected to survive, police said.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
