Police are looking for a man they say took money from the cash register of a Bronx deli on Thursday.
The suspect walked into the deli on East 187th Street around 2:30 a.m. and tried to take money out of the register, the NYPD said.
The clerk, a 63-year-old man, tried to stop him and a fight broke out.
The suspect eventually overpowered the clerk and took an undetermined amount of money from the register and fled the scene.
The clerk had a cut on his head but refused medical attention at the scene.
Police released surveillance video of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
