A 26-year-old man is dead after being shot early New Year’s Day in the Bronx, according to police.
The man was shot in the head and torso in the lobby of the St. Mary’s Park Houses on Westchester Avenue in the south Bronx, police said.
The man was taken to Lincoln Medical Center and was pronounced dead on arrival.
It was not clear if any arrests had been made.
