FDNY EMT Dies in Hit-and-Run on Kosciuszko Bridge

An FDNY EMT was killed Saturday night when he was struck by a car changing lanes on the Kosciuszko Bridge, police said.

Kevin Liang, 27, of Brooklyn, was riding a motorcycle and heading eastbound on the bridge shortly before 8 p.m. when he was struck, police said. He then lost control and fell to the pavement.

The vehicle, possibly a dark sedan, fled the area.

Laing was rushed to Woodhull Hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

He had been with the FDNY for three years and was assigned to emergency medical dispatch.

The NYPD’s Highway Collision Squad is investigating the crash.

Police initially said the motorcyclist fell off his bike, but then updated their account of what happened based on their investigation.
