A man died after crawling from a Queens sidewalk to the front stoop of a nearby home, where the homeowner found him and called for help, police say.
Police are investigating the mysterious death near 135th Avenue and 224th Street in Laurelton Thursday.
The man had a head injury and possibly two broken arms, police said. He was on the ground near the curb when he began crawling to the stoop.
He was taken to the hospital, where he died.
Police Thursday removed a bike from the sidewalk as evidence. There was no damage to it.
