A 35-year-old man is accused of biting one police officer and punching another in the face at LaGuardia Airport Friday as they were trying to restrain him near a ticket counter.

Port Authority Police say the man, who had a ticket for a flight to Toronto, was shouting and acting out near the counter.

As paramedics and police were escorting him away, he allegedly turned violent, attacking the officers.

One officer was bitten on the right hand, another was punched in the jaw and a third hurt his back.

He was charged with assault on a police officer and disorderly conduct.
