Man Asks Teen on Bronx Street Where He's From, Shoots Him: NYPD

    Police are looking for a shooting suspect who allegedly fired a gun after approaching a teenager on a Bronx street and asking where he was from.

    The suspect approached an 18-year-old man in the area of Fulton Avenue and East 167th Street in Morrisania at about 10 p.m. Sunday, according to police.

    When the victim replied, the gunman took out a handgun from his pocket and shot him in the right thigh, then ran away.

    The victim was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he's listed in stable condition.

    Anyone who recognizes the suspect in the surveillance images captured from a nearby building is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
