L.I. Man Charged With Setting Own Home on Fire

He was charged with arson, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child

A Long Island man is accused of setting two fires at his home.      

Nassau County police say Evans Saintune of Baldwin was arrested after a police investigation into the fires, which they say were intentionally started on Wednesday.      

Saintune was charged with arson, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child. He was to be arraigned on Thursday.      

Information about his attorney wasn't immediately available.
