Man Charged With Attempted Murder in Westchester Shooting

A 30-year-old man has been arrested in a connection with an early morning shooting Sunday outside a Westchester bar, according to a published report.

Police responded to calls of shots fired just after 3:30 a.m. near Beekman and Barnhardt avenues in Sleepy Hollow and found a 22-year-old man and a 27-year-old man with gunshot wounds in the street in front of Match Bar, The Journal News reports.

The two men were taken to Westchester Medical Center, where one is listed in critical condition, the paper said.

A block away, police found and arrested Sean Ward and recovered a firearm, the paper said.

Ward has been charged with attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon, the paper said. He was arraigned Sunday.
