A 33-year-old man is accused of raping a woman on a Long Island beach.
Southold Town police say Rudy Orlando Cruz-Ventura was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of rape.
The alleged attack occurred Tuesday night at Goldsmith's Inlet Beach in Southold.
Both the suspect and the 33-year-old victim are from Greenport.
