Man, 60, Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash; Suspects Arrested: NYPD

A 60-year-old man was injured after a car hit him and fled the scene early Thursday, the NYPD said.

Police say the man was standing behind his own car around 1:20 a.m. when he was hit on Madison Avenue near East 80th Street.

The driver of the other car fled, but officers were able to find him by spotting the damaged car on West End Avenue in the Upper West Side.

Two men were taken into custody and charges are pending.

Meanwhile, the victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital with trauma.

The names of the suspects and victim weren’t released.
