Man, 22, Fatally Shot in Harlem Bar

A 22-year-old man is dead after a shooting in a Harlem bar on Saturday, police said.

Jarel Mitchell, who lived in the Belmont section of the Bronx, was shot twice in the back at Harlem Nights bar on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard near West 138th Street, police said.

When officers arrived at around 3:15 a.m., they found Mitchell fatally wounded and another man shot once in the right leg. The second man was hospitalized in stable condition.

There were no immediate arrests.
