Police are looking for a hit-and-run motorist who killed a Long Island woman and injured a man standing by the woman's car.
Suffolk County authorities say 27-year-old Erika Strebel died Saturday night after the mishap on Montauk Highway in Eastport.
Her companion, Edward Barton, suffered head and knee injuries.
The two were standing near her car on the shoulder of the highway when they were struck by a vehicle, that then fled.
