Violence erupted at a Long Island party early Saturday morning when a man shot three people, police said.
Authorities said Tehron Sims, 25, shot the three at a party on Maple Court in Copiague at around 1:40 a.m.
The victims were taken to area hospitals and treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
It was not clear what motivated the shooting.
Sims was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Information on a lawyer for Sims was not immediately available.
