A Long Island teenager has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a 5-year-old girl.
Anthony Lloyd Pendelton was arrested Sunday. Police say he assaulted the 5-year-old girl at a residence in Flanders.
Pendelton, 17, has has been charged with sex abuse in the first degree, two counts of criminal sexual acts, and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
On Monday, Pendelton was remanded to the Suffolk County Jail with bail set at $20,000.
Pendelton's relationship to the girl was unclear.
Information on an attorney for Pendelton was not immediately available.
