A New York man has died after accidentally injuring himself with a chainsaw while he was cutting up some wood.

Police said 35-year-old Theofilos Zervos of Baldwin in Nassau County was cutting some wood on the side of his house Friday when he lost control of the chainsaw and it lacerated his neck. The man's girlfriend found him and called 911.
