A Long Island man faces burglary charges accusing him of stealing DJ equipment worth more than $5,000 from a local night club, police said Saturday.

Scott D. Golden, 47, of East Hampton was arrested Friday after town police officers armed with a search warrant found the DJ equipment in his residence, investigators said.

The equipment had been reported stolen from The Leo Club on Three Mile Harbor Road in East Hampton.

Golden is charged with third-degree burglary, criminal possession of stolen property, criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools, police said.

There was no available information as to whether Golden had obtained an attorney to comment about the charges.
