Long Island Camp Counselor Arrested on 112-Count Indictment on Child Porn, Sex Abuse Charges

A Long Island day camp employee has been charged in a 112-count indictment that accuses him of sexually abusing an 11-year-old boy and possessing a massive collection of child pornography.

Keith Meyn, of Oakdale, pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Suffolk County court. Information on his lawyer wasn't immediately available.

Prosecutors say the 34-year-old man was employed at Camp Kenwal in Melville as a group leader and counselor.

The camp released a statement saying they were "shocked and saddened" by the arrest. The camp said authorities have not given them any reason to suspect Meyn was involved in the alleged activity while employed at the camp.

Meyn also worked for two modeling agencies and a film company.

Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota says Meyn participated in the crimes involving children for over a decade. Spota says Meyn helped distribute photographs and video featuring young boys.

If convicted of all charges, he faces 50 years in prison.
