Suffolk County police say a motorcyclist was killed when he was thrown from his bike after it collided with a sport utility vehicle.
Police say the crash occurred about 7:15 p.m. Saturday at a street intersection in North Lindenhurst. Thirty-eight-year-old Christopher Sliwoski of Lindenhurst was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV driver, who remained at the scene, was not injured.
The vehicles were impounded for safety checks.
