Man Sought in Knifepoint Livery Cab Robbery

The passenger was caught on surveillance camera

Police are searching for a man who robbed a livery cab driver at knifepoint in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx early Monday.

The 61-year-old driver was transporting a passenger at about 12:10 a.m. near East 141st Street and St. Mary's Street when the passenger placed a knife to the driver's neck and stole cash, according to police..

The robber is described as about 25 to 30 years old, and was last seen wearing a long-sleeve white shirt and multi-colored baseball cap. He has several tattoos across the neck, one on the right side and one in the front.
