1. London Woman Impaled by Beach Umbrella at Jersey Shore

A London woman was impaled by a beach umbrella on the New Jersey shore, authorities say.

Margaret Reynolds, 67, was at Seaside Heights Monday afternoon when part of the umbrella pierced her right ankle and was driven completely through due to the "force of the wind."

Borough Police Chief Tommy Boyd says fire crews had to use a bolt cutter on the umbrella to free the woman and put her in an ambulance. She was taken to the hospital and is in good condition, according to authorities.

2. Many Didn't Know Instagram Question Was Not Anonymous

Dozens of people have admitted they didn't know that the new Instagram questions feature is not anonymous. Awkward. 

They say had no idea until they had been put on blast for writing inapproproate or downright mean things to their friends. 

Some blamed it on Ask FM, another app that doesn't identify question askers.

Need new photos for Instagram? You're in luck. 

Curbed just put out a new list of the best spots for those flashy photos in the Big Apple. 

Dumbo and the Brooklyn Bridge are there, but if you need something off the beaten path, try the Graffiti Hall of Fame in Harlem or Bowery Art Wall.

You could always head to Nathan's Famous on Coney Island, but there are also other options to enjoy the day. 

Try the Cannibal or Katz's Deli in Manhattan.
