Suspect Wanted in Brooklyn Attempted Rape

The victim was walking on Webster Avenue in Kensington when the man grabbed her from behind and threw her to the ground

Police are searching for a man suspected of attempting to rape a 24-year-old woman in Brooklyn Tuesday.

According to authorities, the victim was walking on Webster Avenue in Kensington at around 2:40 a.m. when the man grabbed her from behind and threw her to the ground.

The suspect, believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, demanded her money and attempted to rape her, police said. The man fled when the victim resisted.

Police have released a sketch of the suspect (see above) and are asking for the public's help in identifying and finding him.
