A jogger running in Westchester County found a dead man on the side of the highway Monday, authorities say.
Police say the jogger called authorities around 6:30 a.m. to report the grisly discovery on Route 133 and Tavano Road in Ossining.
Authorities have categorized the death a homicide after determining that the unidentified man, about 40 to 60 years old, died from multiple stab wounds.
There was no identification on the man when he was found, and authorities say they are looking into whether he may have been dumped at the location.
The last homicide in Ossining was nearly a year ago -- on Aug. 26, 2014, authorities said.
