JetBlue Flight Diverted to JFK After Bird Strike

The plane was heading from White Plains to Fort Myers, Fla.

A JetBlue flight from Westchester County to Florida was diverted to JFK Airport Thursday after a bird strike, the airline said.

JetBlue said flight 1205 from White Plains to Fort Myers "experienced a bird strike shortly after takeoff."

The plane landed safely at JFK and passengers were put on another plane. 

No injuries were reported.
