Missing Brooklyn Fashion Designer Found Dead: Police

A body pulled from the New York Harbor in Brooklyn has been identified as a missing 31-year-old Brooklyn fashion designer.

An NYPD harbor unit found the body Thursday morning off Pier 4 in Sunset Park.

Police identified him Friday as Jay Ott, who's been missing since March 22. He was last seen leaving his home in Bushwick.

Posters of Ott had been hanging in subway stations for months as concerned friends and relatives searched for him.

He had been design director at the Dock Group since last October, and previously worked as a senior designer for a company owned by Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen.

The medical examiner will determine a cause of death.
