Man Stabbed on Subway Platform in Brooklyn: FDNY

A man was stabbed on a subway platform in Brooklyn, fire officials say.

Emergency responders were called to the Crescent Street J train station in East New York shortly before 4:30 p.m. and found a man in his 30s with three stab wounds to the back, police said.

He was taken to Jamaica Hospital, where he was listed in serious but stable condition.

No arrest has been made.

A woman says on her Facebook page she was waiting on the subway platform when she saw a group of teens suddenly rush to the front of the platform, and when the crowd moved back, she saw someone stabbed on the floor.

J train service was briefly interrupted as police and EMS responded. It has since resumed.
