A mugger stole an Illinois tourist's purse as she walked her two golden retrievers in Central Park Tuesday morning, making off with $20 and a bag of dog treats, according to the NYPD.
The woman was walking at West Drive and West 106th Street with her golden retrievers when the robber ran up and grabbed her purse, the NYPD says.
The woman was not injured in the robbery. Her dogs later got a ride in an NYPD patrol car as authorities searched for the robber.
