Victims of Sandy Buried

On Friday, two of the storm's youngest victims were laid together in a single casket at a church in Brooklyn

Some of Sandy's victims are being laid to rest this weekend.

A funeral service was held in Rockland County on Saturday for retired New York City police officer Jeffrey Chanin.

He died when a tree crashed through his home in Pearl River.

And on Friday, two of the storm's youngest victims were laid together in a single casket at a church in Brooklyn.

A 2-year-old and his 4-year-old brother were swept out of their mother's arms by the storm surge on Staten Island as they tried to escape the flood.

Their bodies were found three days later.

Neighbors described the children as well-behaved, with reddish hair inherited from their Irish father.

Parents Damian and Glenda Moore of Staten Island and nearly 1,000 mourners attended the service.
