Storm Leads to Modified Lockdown at NJ Jail

The lockdown will limit visits and inmate movements, beginning 9:30 p.m. Sunday

Passaic County Sheriff Richard Berdnik has ordered a modified lockdown of the county jail because of Hurricane Sandy.
 
The lockdown will limit visits and inmate movements, beginning 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
 
Berdnik has the entire Passaic County Sheriff's Office on alert and ready for deployment when needed.
