Two men jumped into the Hudson River in Hoboken Saturday and helped bring a struggling woman to safety.

The 38-year-old woman said she had jumped in to retrieve a stuffed animal that had fallen in the water.

“She didn’t look like she knew how to swim very well,” said Thomas Licciardi, who helped bring the woman to shore along with his friend, Eric Warg.

The woman was taken to an area hospital and is expected to be fine.
