Police say a pedestrian has been killed in a hit-and-run accident in Queens.
Police responding to a 911 call found the 32-year-old man lying on the roadway on Fresh Pond Road in Ridgewood around 3 a.m. Monday.
The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Witnesses said a dark sedan struck the pedestrian before fleeing the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
