A hiker inside the Palisades Interstate Park in New Jersey fell about 50 feet while on a trail Monday evening, authorities said.
A medical helicopter was called to the State Line Lookout parking lot to transport the victim to the Hackensack Medical Center.
The hiker apparently fell at about 5 p.m.
The extent of the hiker's injuries was not immediately clear.
