3 Men Shot Across from Harlem Playground

The victims were all adult males and the shooting was believed to be gang-related.

Police say three people have been shot across from a playground in Harlem.

A 23-year-old man was shot in the rear end, a 25-year-old man was shot in the leg and a 30-year-old man was shot in the left hand and left leg Monday afternoon, authorities said.

Police believe the gunman came up behind the men and shot them at St. Nicholas Terrace and 129th Street. One witness reported seeing someone fleeing in a gray minivan.

Law enforcement sources told NBC New York the shooting is believed to be gang-related.

Police are investigating.
