East Windsor Police have charged a woman with taking beer allegedly stolen by Omar Thornton.

Christy Quail, 33, of Enfield, was arrested Friday afternoon. She is accused of larceny in connection with the beer taken from Hartford Distributors. It's the beer officials at Hartford Distributors say Thornton was caught on tape stealing from the company.

Managers at Hartford Distributors forced Thornton to resign over the allegations Tuesday morning. Moments after a meeting with those managers, Thornton pulled a gun and killed eight co-workers.

Quail was charged with two counts of larceny and possession of stolen beer from Hartford Distributors. The alleged crime took place in East Windsor, which is why it was East Windsor officers who arrested Quail, police said.
