Caught on Tape: Jewelry Store Robbery

NYPD has released this surveillance video of a robbery at a jewelry store in Brooklyn Monday afternoon. Anyone with information on the men seen here is asked to call 800-577-TIPS.
Police are looking for two men who robbed a Greenpoint, Brooklyn jewelry store Monday afternoon, shooting the owner in the stomach.
Richard Sanocki was wounded in the daytime robbery at Studio Jewelry on Nassau Avenue, but his son tells NBC New York that he will be OK.
"He's gonna be all right," David Sanocki said.
Shopkeepers in the neighborhood describe the area as very safe, and people who know Sanocki said they were shocked at what had happened.
"He was always careful and calm, so this is even more strange," said Patricia Grodowsky, who works nearby.
The son says jewelry was stolen but isn't saying how much it was worth.
Police have released surveillance video of the robbery, and are asking anyone with information on the men seen in the video to contact them at 800-577-TIPS or at nypdcrimestoppers.com.
The investigation is ongoing.
